We are currently recruiting for the following initiatives:

Black Nurse Scientists Mentoring Initiative

Did you know that less than 1% of Nurse Scientists are Black? 

• We welcome your participation in a focus group or individual interview to better understand the barriers and facilitators to the enrollment of Black nurses into Ph.D. programs. 

• Your participation will inform a program that aims to increase the number of Black nurse scientists. 

You are eligible to participate in a 90-minute focus group if you are: 

• Black/African American nurse or nursing student interested in or preparing to pursue a Ph.D. in nursing or other social or behavioral Ph.D. program. 

• Currently a Ph.D.-prepared nurse scientist engaged in research. 

• A current student or alumni of a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). 

• Currently or recently held an administrative role at any school of nursing. Y

You are eligible to participate in a 60-minute interview if you are:

Participants will receive a gift valued up to $100 for taking part in the study.
